PRIME MINISTER OF GEORGIA CONGRATULATES PRESIDENTIAL AUTHORITY TO KASSYM-JOMART TOKAYEV

Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister of Georgia congratulated Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Incumbent President of Kazakhstan with the newly assigned authority.

During the telephone conversation held this morning, Head of Government of Georgia underlined the historic relations existing between the two countries and noted that Georgia regards Kazakhstan as a friendly nation and strong partner of Georgia, thereby stressing the significance of deepened cooperation based on mutual interests.

Phone conversation was related to the prospect of developing mutually beneficial economic relations. Parties welcomed an increased trade volume, which exceeded 149 MLN USD in 2018. They also noted that current trend of tourism is rather positive.

Prime Minister of Georgia expressed gratitude to the Incumbent President of Kazakhistan for the solid support of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Georgia.
