"We never had such a strong platform of promoting our culture in Europe throughout the history of independent Georgia" noted Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister of Georgia after opening the topical stands of Georgia at the Frankfurt Book Fair.

In the opinion of the Head of the Government of Georgia, it is a unique opportunity of Georgia to be a Guest of Honor at the Frankfurt Book Fair in 2018 to showcase its traditions, culture, alphabet, literature and values in Europe.

"Georgia is represented with several stands. Besides, we have a special pavilion dedicated to Georgia - our culture, literature, folklore and science. Here you will find stands promoting our wine. Europe has officially declared that Georgia is the cradle of wine and we started winemaking 8000 years ago, which is a very significant contribution of Georgia to the European civilization. It is acknowledged by everyone" added the Prime Minister of Georgia.

Head of the Government of Georgia once again thanked everybody, who played a role in the organization of this key-note event

Topical stands of Georgia as a Guest of Honor of the Frankfurt Book Fair in 2018 were viewed by the Prime Minister of Georgia together with Jürgen Boos, Director of the Frankfurt Book Fair and members of the Georgian delegation.
