Prime Minister Holds Meeting on Progress with Pension and Capital Market Reforms

Progress with pension and capital market reforms were discussed at today's working meeting chaired by Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili at the Administration of the Government.

During the meeting, the Ministries of Finance and Economy, along with the National Bank, reported on the progress with said reforms, discussed individual key issues and reform deadlines.

As it was pointed out during the meeting, work on the pension reform is underway as planned, and the actual reform process will launch in the 3rd quarter of 2018, with relevant legislative amendments being developed and necessary institutional and technical infrastructure being put in place.
The working meeting was attended by the Ministers and Deputy Ministers of Finance and Economy, the President and Vice President of the National Bank, and members of the National Bank's Council.
