Meeting with American Senators
2017-05-10 Today Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili held a meeting with Senators Roger Wicker (Chairman of the Helsinki Commission in Congress) and Ben Cardin (Co-Chairman of the Helsinki Commission in Congress). The Prime Minister of Georgia thanked the Senators for initiating the recent resolution in support of Georgia's territorial integrity; he also emphasized the importance of this support in the peaceful resolution of the problem related to the occupation of Georgian territories. The parties discussed the state of affairs in the region, and special attention was paid to the situation in Georgia's occupied territories.
