Meeting with the US Special Envoy
2016-05-17 Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili and the US Special Envoy and Coordinator for International Energy Affairs Amos Hochstein discussed the US-Georgia bilateral relations during their meeting in Thessaloniki. The strategic partnership between the countries as well as perspectives of full utilization of energy, logistics and investment potential and probability of further deepening relations were emphasized during the meeting. The sides discussed energy security related issue. It was noted that Georgia attaches great importance to the strengthening of its functions as a transit and energy corridor country.
