Despite the pandemic, in the first 10 months, local export is at a historic high

Despite the pandemic and global recession, the successful recovery of Georgia's economy continues, with local export growing to reach a historic high in January-October of 2020

Similarly, the share of local export in overall export is growing, making up 72.1% in January-October of 2020.

In October of 2020, local export was up 21.2% year-over-year.

In January-October, export without reexport (local export), made up 1,956.8 million USD (historic high).

Back in 2019, Georgia's export reached an all-time high, 3,798.4 million USD. In 2019, trade deficit, compared to 2018, dropped by 263.3 million USD to make up 5,718.5 million USD.
