Meeting with Italian Foreign Minister
2017-03-08 The importance of the diplomatic relations between Georgia and Italy, which celebrate their 25th anniversary, and prospects of further cooperation were discussed at today's meeting in Rome between Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili and Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Angelino Alfano. The parties discussed some of the key issues pertaining to the partnership between the two nations and emphasized the close friendly bonds between Georgia and Italy. Giorgi Kvirikashvili thanked Angelino Alfano for Italy's support of Georgia's European integration and territorial integrity, and for its unwavering position on the non-recognition policy.
