Berdia Sichinava: The Positive Trend in Terms of the Increasing Number of Recoveries Continues; 2,197 People Have Recovered in the Last 24 Hours
2020-10-28 As of today, 1,731 new, confirmed cases of infection have been detected in the last 24 hours, Berdia Sichinava, deputy head of the Task Force operating under the Interagency Coordination Council stated at a briefing at the Administration of the Government. He discussed the latest statistics on the coronavirus. The geographic breakdown of the 1,731 cases of infection that were detected today is as follows: 636 in Tbilisi, 333 in Adjara, 320 in Imereti, 121 in Kvemo Kartli, 76 in Shida Kartli, 18 in Guria, 119 in Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti, 45 in Kakheti, 9 in Mtskheta-Mtianeti, 39 in Samtskhe-Javakheti, and 15 in Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti. We have 3,507 people in quarantine, including 726 persons in Tbilisi and 1,788 in Adjara. A total of 9,390 people have been transferred from the border to quarantine between 6 and 27 October. These are the statistical data that reflect the current epidemiological situation in the country," Berdia Sichinava stated.
