PRIME MINISTER OF GEORGIA TO VISIT BRUSSELS

Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister of Georgia is scheduled to visit Brussels for the first time within this capacity in the period of July 18-20, 2018.

Head of the Government of Georgia will arrive for the working visit to the Kingdom of Belgium on July 18, 2018 and will first meet Jens Stoltenberg, Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Alliance (NATO). Meeting will be followed with statements for media.

Prime Minister of Georgia will be hosted by the President of the European Council on July 19, 2018. Joint address to the press by Mamuka Bakhtadze and Donald Tusk has been planned afterwards.

Head of the Government of Georgia is scheduled to meet Didier Reynders, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Kingdom of Belgium; Johanes Hann, European Commissioner for European Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations; Sesilia Malmstrom, European Commissioner for Trade; Valdis Dombrovskis, Vice President of of the European Commission for the Euro and Social Dialogue within the working visit to Brussels.

Delegation of Georgia, headed by the Prime Minister of the country, includes David Zalkaliani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia and Levan Izoria, Minister of Defense of Georgia.
