Giorgi Kvirikashvili to Hold Working Visit to US on May 21-23

On May 21-23, Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili will hold a working visit to the United States of America.

The Head of Government, together with US State Secretary Mike Pompeo, will open the Plenary Session of the Georgia-US Strategic Partnership Commission. In addition, Giorgi Kvirikashvili will participate in the Annual Conference of the Georgia-US Strategic Partnership organized by the US Institute of Peace and the Heritage Foundation in Washington. Under the visit, bilateral meetings are scheduled with both representatives of the executive branch and the heads of various Congressional Committees. On May 23, the Prime Minister will attend the reception celebrating the 100th anniversary of the first Democratic Republic of Georgia organized by the Embassy of Georgia at the US Institute of Peace in Washington.

The Georgian delegation includes First Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Dimitri Kumsishvili, Vice Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze, and the Prime Minister's Foreign Adviser Tedo Japaridze.
