Giorgi Kvirikashvili to Participate in Munich Security Conference Print Version

 

Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili will take part in the 53rd Security Conference in Munich, which is scheduled for February 17-19. This year's conference agenda focuses on the future of Transatlantic relations and NATO, the state EU defense and security cooperation, relations with Russia, processes in Syria, and the security situation in the Asia-Pacific.

This year's participants include German Chancellor Angela Merkel, US Vice President Mike Pence, US Secretary of Defense James Mattis, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, President of the European Council Donald Tusk, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg , heads of state from over 30 countries, over 80 foreign and defense ministers.

During the 53rd Munich Security Conference, the Prime Minister of Georgia will hold a number of bilateral meetings.
