Georgian Prime Minister Zurab Noghaideli Visits Austria and the OSCE

On 26 October 2005 Prime Minister Noghaideli left for Europe for a working visit.

On 27 October Noghaideli delivered a speech at an OSCE council session in Vienna. He spoke about the situation Georgia's conflict areas and Russian policies in these regions. He also presented a plan for expanding the negotiations format for the settlement of the South Ossetia conflict. All OSCE member states except Russia expressed their approval for the plan.

Within the framework of the meeting Zurab Noghaideli met OSCE Secretary-General Marc Perrin de Brichambaut.

On 28 October the prime minister met the president and prime minister of Austria. They spoke on prospects for developing relations between the two countries.
