Today, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, together with Moldovan President Maia Sandu, attended an event organized in a working-dinner format by Polish President Andrzej Duda within the framework of the UN General Assembly, in New York.

The meeting discussed the importance of the Associated Trio format and the role of Poland, as one of the key EU member states, in supporting the Associated Trio.
The parties emphasized that said three countries are exceptional partners under the Eastern Partnership, and it is crucial to highlight their role even clearer at the upcoming Eastern Partnership Summit, including ensuring the more for more principle for the differentiated approach to them.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili emphasized EU membership as Georgia's ultimate goal, emphasizing the importance of support from European partners in the country's ambitious plan of applying for EU membership in 2024.
At the meeting, the Georgian delegation was represented by Vice Prime Minister/Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani and Head of the Government's Administration Ilia Darchiashvili.
