"Vaccination is the only solution for safeguarding our citizens from further complications" stated Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia at the Second Public School in Zestaponi, which is currently housing the Vaccination Centre and got briefed about the process of immunization in the region.
The Head of Government of Georgia was briefed by Lia Ebanoidze, Manager of the Outpatient Care Centre of Zestaponi Geo Hospitals.
Over 350 individuals get vaccinated at the unit every day. It has been operating since August 23 and has so far immunized 2848 individuals.
Citizens registered for vaccination and those willing to queue on site are admitted at the Vaccination Centre for immunization against COVID-19.
Healthcare professionals of Geo Hospitals are administering the process on the spot.
Prime Minister of Georgia was accompanied to the Vaccination Centre by Irakli Karseladze, Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development of Georgia; Rati Bregadze, Minister of Justice of Georgia and Zviad Shalamberidze, Governor of Imereti region.
