Prime Minister of the Republic of Lithuania Ingrida Simonyte congratulates Irakli Garibashvili on his appointment as Prime Minister of Georgia.

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Lithuania, in her congratulatory letter, emphasizes the friendly relations between Lithuania and Georgia and reaffirms Lithuania's firm support for Georgia's territorial integrity and sovereignty.

"Dear Prime Minister,

On behalf of the Government of Lithuania, let me extend to you my congratulations on your appointment as Prime Minister of Georgia. I wish you every success in your efforts to ensure safe and prosperous future of for your country and your people.

May I also reiterate Lithuania's unwavering support to Georgia's territorial integrity and sovereignty, as well as to your country's European and Euro-Atlantic path.

I also trust that we will continue to build on the long-standing cooperation between our countries and look for new opportunities to strengthen it. One of the possible areas is the implementation of reforms under the Association Agreement between the European Union and Georgia," Ingrida Simonyte official letter to Georgia's Prime Minister reads.
