I unequivocally condemn any kind of violence against any citizen, especially the media. This is how Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia commented on the attack on journalist Vakho Sanaia and his family.
The Head of Government of Georgia expresses gratitude to the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the efficient arrest of the attackers.
"I want to respond to the attack on journalist Vakho Sanaia and his family. I unequivocally condemn any kind of violence against any citizen, especially the media. I thank the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the efficient arrest of the attackers. I assure you that the response from the State will be adequate and the perpetrators will be held accountable with the full force of the law" concluded the Prime Minister of Georgia.
