"I want to bow before our heroic ancestors, before our cadets, who sacrificed their lives heroically, thus sacrificing the most precious thing to protect the independence of our homeland" stated Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia when talking with journalists gathered at the event held at the Parliament of Georgia today in memory of cadets who died in Kojori-Tabakhmela settlement in February 1921.

The Head of Government of Georgia laid a wreath at the cadets' memorial and paid tribute to their memory together with the Speaker of the Parliament and the Mayor of Tbilisi.

"Today is February 23. I would like to pay my respect to our heroic ancestors, to our cadets, who sacrificed their lives heroically, thus sacrificing the most precious thing to protect the independence of our homeland. Today, we have once again recalled your heroic cadets, all the heroic citizens who sacrificed their lives for our independence" stated the Prime Minister of Georgia.
