Poland unconditionally supports independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia within the internationally recognized borders and demonstrates solid support to its European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations. It was noted by Mateusz Morawiecki, Prime Minister of Poland in a letter addressed to Giorgi Gakharia, Head of Government on the occasion of his reappointment to the position of the Prime Minister of Georgia.

As noted by the Mr. Morawiecki, he is confident that Government of Georgia led by Giorgi Gakharia will do its best at the international arena for further strengthening the country position.

"I sincerely wish to congratulate you upon your reappointment as a Prime Minister of Georgia.

Start of 2021 New Year requires decisive steps and brave decisions from the Government for ensuring the safety of citizens against the background of the coronavirus pandemic, for returning to the ordinary life and economic recovery on the one hand and for addressing new tasks and challenges at the domestic and foreign policy arena - on the other hand.

I am confident that Government of Georgia led by you will do its best to achieve these goals and to further strengthen positions of Georgia at the international arena, which should happen through a consistent implementation of the EU-Georgia Association Agreement and its ambitious agenda, along with an intensified cooperation with NATO. I wish to assure you that Poland unconditionally supports independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia within the internationally recognized borders and demonstrates solid support towards its European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations.
