It was underlined at the meeting with executives of the private healthcare facilities that it is essential not only to hospitalize only the most acute cases of infection, but also to keep away from overwhelming the system by leaving no patient beyond the reach of healthcare facilities, especially those who require specialized medical services in the first instance.

At the same time, it was noted that the Government of Georgia maintains a strategy of precision-targeted and localized approaches and no systemic restrictions are intended.

The Prime Minister of Georgia stated at the meeting that at this stage of viral spread it is particularly important to manage the process in an efficient manner. Hence, interaction with executives of healthcare facilities will become further more intensive.
