According to the decision of the Interagency Coordination Council, which is headed by the prime minister, from today it is permitted to hold social events (including weddings, all types of anniversaries, ritual ceremonies, and so on) outdoors, for which the recommended number of attendees has been set at 100 people.

Last week, the council already allowed the organization of cultural events in outdoor spaces. Holding rehearsals indoors, in accordance with the protocol established by the Ministry of Healthcare, has also become permitted.
The Interagency Coordination Council will continue monitoring current epidemiological trends and will gradually make decisions regarding the opening of other activities.

As of today, there are 1,039 confirmed cases of coronavirus infection in Georgia, 900 of whom have already recovered. Forty-one Georgian citizens have been repatriated from foreign countries for treatment. Sixteen persons have died.
Currently, 5,534 persons are in quarantine and 267 persons are hospitalized under medical observation.
