It is an honor to wish a Happy Independence Day to the United States of America, our strategic partner and friend. This day is remarkable not only for the United States, but also for the entire world, in that it marks the birth of a nation symbolizing democracy and freedom for those who embrace these values, Georgian Prime Minister wishes the United States of America a Happy Independence Day.

According to the Head of Government, the Georgian nation, guided by these values, to the path of freedom, stronger democracy, resilient economy, and health and prosperity for every Georgian citizen.

"European and Euro-Atlantic integration is our foreign policy's priority, and we are working together toward that end. We are grateful to our American partners for their unwavering support in this process.

For almost three decades, the US has stood by Georgia's side. Together, we have overcome many challenges, marked important benchmarks, and celebrated joint accomplishments. Today, the world faces the challenge of our lifetime and as always, in the face of this crisis, our American partners have offered us invaluable support, which we highly appreciate. We are very grateful for the United States' support and engagement in Georgia's fight against COVID-19 pandemic. I am sure that our joint efforts will enable us to defeat the virus and emerge even stronger as nations, as partners and allies," Giorgi Gakharia says.

According to the Prime Minister, he is proud to see that Georgia-US strategic partnership is as strong as ever.

"We have achieved significant progress in key areas and elevated our cooperation to the highest level, including defense and security as well as trade and economy. The bonds between our nations are growing stronger by the day. At the same time, we do see greater potential in trade and economic cooperation with the US, and our Government will spare no effort to attract more American investments and business companies to Georgia.

As we fight the invisible enemy together with our international partners, in Georgia we still have to meet the challenges related to maintaining our freedom, protecting our statehood, de-occupying our country, protecting fundamental rights of our citizens, and reviving our economy, which is why we know that we cannot afford dropping our guard, and we must be able to deal with these threats," the Head of Government emphasizes.

The Prime Minister is grateful to US Ambassador Kelly Degnan and the entire dedicated team at the US Embassy for their efforts and support of Georgia.

"This year, we welcomed a new US Ambassador to Georgia, and I would like to thank Ms. Kelly Degnan, and the entire team of the US Embassy, for their dedicated work.

Georgia and the United States of America are trusted and reliable strategic partners and allies.

I am confident that the bonds between our nations will emerge even stronger from these difficult times. On behalf of the Georgian people, the Government of Georgia, and myself, I wish you a Happy Independence Day," Giorgi Gakharia says.
