On July 1, Georgia will be ready to welcome international visitors. Consequently, high safety standards are actively adopted by the country's airports to rise to pandemic-related challenges-the Head of Georgian Government, in the company of Vice Prime Minister Maya Tskitishvili and Imereti Governor Zviad Shalamberidze, visited Kutaisi Davit Aghmashenebeli International Airport's new terminal under active construction today.

Giorgi Gakharia familiarized himself with the implementation of phase two under the construction project, and received detailed information from the Head of United Airports at the Ministry of Economy.
The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of streamlined modern infrastructure for the development of the country's economy, which is why special attention is paid to the implementation of larger, wider-reaching projects.

Alongside the construction of a new terminal at Kutaisi International Airport, work under phase three of construction is also in full swing. In addition, Dimark Group, a Polish company, is installing modern systems to upgrade traveler's comfort at the airport.
The Prime Minister underlined that such projects seek to ensure the country's progress and development, ultimately to boost the welfare of every family.
