Giorgi Gakharia, Prime Minister of Georgia met President Armen Sarkissian within the scope of his Official Visit to the Republic of Armenia today.
Negotiations were held within the interface and extended formats. Parties stressed the warm bilateral relations and positive trend of trade and economic relations. Also, special attention was paid to the significance of cooperation between the two countries towards education and innovations.
President of the Republic of Armenia congratulated Giorgi Gakharia with his appointment to the position of the Prime Minister of Georgia and wished him every success.
Prime Minister of Georgia and Government Delegation on the Official Visit to Yerevan were hosted by the Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II.
Also within the scope of the Official Visit, Head of Government of Georgia laid a wreth of garland to the Memorial of Armenians Fallen in 1915.
