Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister of Georgia met Syarhey Rumas, Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus in Minsk today.
Official Greet and Welcome Ceremony was held at the Government House of Belarus. Anthems of both countries were performed. Prime Ministers of the host and visiting countries introduced delegation members to each other on the ground.
Face to face meeting of Prime Ministers was held and an extended one followed that engaged government members of both countries.
Discussions were related to the political and economic cooperation of both countries. Growing trend of trade and economic relations between Georgia and Republic of Belarus has been stressed. Launch of a Georgian Trade House in Minks is believed to further facilitate the intensified relations between Georgia and Belarus towards this end.
