Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister of Georgia met Vladimir Andreichenko, Chairman of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Belarus today.

Meeting was concentrated on the parliamentary cooperation and further developed interaction between the legislative bodies of two countries. Significance of Friendship Groups at the Parliaments of Georgia and Belarus was underlined towards this end.

As noted by the Chairman of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Belarus, it is also important that MPs of both countries continue work within the format of Inter-Governmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation.

Rising trend of trade volumes has been stressed and noted that potential exists to further increase the indicator to 200 MLN.

Focus at the meeting was made on the growing trend in tourism. It was noted that number of visitors from Belarus to Georgia has been increased 15 times since 2010.
