Second phase of residential construction for the military personnel with co-financing from the State Budget will start from 2021 as ruled by the Head of Government of Georgia. It was announced by Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister of Georgia at a meeting with servicemen held at a Rehabilitation Center located in Tserovani today.

In the opinion of the Head of Government of Georgia, dignity of any society is measured by its attitude towards people that sacrificed their health and life for common dignity and freedom. Hence, improved social conditions of hero servicemen is the prime task of the Government.

Prime Minister of Georgia noted that it is the very reason for the implementation of a residential construction project at Makhata Mount in Tbilisi and 635 officers will be getting apartments in the first phase of it. Partnership established by servicemen will be granted 10 hectares of land for a symbolic price at Makhata Mount from the Government through a direct sale procedure for the construction of a residential block. Upon its completion in 2021 a second phase of the project will commence for young servicemen.
Implementation of projects for provision of residential housing for military personnel is also planned for other cities of Georgia.
