Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister of Georgia met high-tech-savvy Georgian youth working at leading American corporations in Seattle. Head of Government of Georgia got briefed about their professional occupation and stressed the most significant experience they get at the largest high-tech corporations.

Prime Minister of Georgia also spoke with the youth about the initiatives planned by the Government of Georgia for the development of an eco-system for innovations and technologies, along with the steps made towards this end.

Head of Government of Georgia noted that country has a potential to transform into a regional hub of innovations, technologies and trans-national business in a greater region, thereby referring to the Georgian youth as a very clear example of this because they are employed at various leading high-tech corporations around the world.

Prime Minister of Georgia also focused his discussions with the youth on the wide-scale reform anticipated within the education system, according with which the sector will be financed with 6% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), i.e. quarter of the State Budget and thereby noted that this very national idea and development of human capital will enable Georgia be at the front-line of the knowledge revolution in the age of disruptive technologies.
