Road of strategic importance is built from Imereti to Racha, which will significantly reduce the time of travel and transportation from Tbilisi towards Racha. It will enable us to fully absorb the potential offered by this gorgeous region of the country. At the same time, last vintage was very impressive and most successful in the history of independent Georgia. It is excellent that vineyards are eagerly created. One cannot see a single land plot in Ambrolauri without a vineyard. Significant project is being implemented for the natural gas supply to local households. Access to internet is being extended to cover Ambrolauri and Oni later on. It is excellent that we started to restore monuments of our cultural heritage in this most beautiful region. Nikortsminda is one of the first sites to be restored. We have commissioned Italian professionals to make sure this task is performed with highest standards. We also visited such interesting village as Gogolati, which has maintained authentic Georgian architecture and unique ornaments. These are unique wooden houses, which have a history of existence dating several centuries. We made a decision to grant a status of national category to this village and will be launching very substantial rehabilitation works. I am confident that it will be one of the most popular attractions among tourists visiting Georgia" concluded the Prime Minister of Georgia.
