"US-Georgia relations are at all time high and we are very proud of it" stated Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister of Georgia when embarking the USS Ross - a US marine vessel harboured at Batumi  Port today. 

Head of Government of Georgia was greeted by Ambassador Ross Wilson, US CDA and US Navy Commander David Coles. Prime Minister of Georgia enjoyed a guided tour on the ship and got briefed about its capabilities. According to the Prime Minister of Georgia, visit of USS Ross once again evidences the US support to Georgia, which is highly appreciated and valued by Georgian people. 

"USA has always been with us in most difficult times since the very first day we regained independence and Georgian people will never forget this. Black Sea security  is becoming a greater priority for the international community. Our message conveyed to our friends has always been very clear - sustainable security of the trans-Atlantic nations cannot exist without security in the Black Sea region. Your visit is yet another strong and friendly message, which we truly cherish" noted the Prime Minister of Georgia in his conversation with  the captain and crew of the marine  vessel USS Ross harboured at Batumi Port on April 21, 2019.
