"Sustainable security of the European family may not be deemed ensured without Black Sea security" stated Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister of Georgia when commenting on his visits to Romania and Bulgaria.

In the opinion of the Head of Government of Georgia, solid support of the friendly nations have been reiterated towards Georgia. Black Sea security is gearing its momentum and significance in international politics and among international institutions, including those that Georgia aspires to join, according to the Prime Minister of the country.

"Romania and Bulgaria are our devoted friends and I wish to express my special gratitude towards both states for their dedication and loyalty, demonstrated towards Georgia. Both countries are supporters of our country towards international aspirations to make us accede to the EU and NATO as fully-fledged members. Both visits were most successful, substantial and what is most important - results-oriented" noted the Prime Minister of Georgia.

Government of Georgia welcomes the decision made by NATO prioritizing the Black Sea among key regions, according to the Head of Government of Georgia. We need to further deepen our relations with all NATO member states around the Black Sea, believes the Prime Minister of Georgia.

"When we refer to economic cooperation, it is very important to further develop the transport and connectivity. We still have serious challenges towards this end. Unfortunately, we need to acknowledge that logistics appears to be a bottleneck in increasing the trade from Georgia towards EU, in supporting other countries of the region to increase their trade with EU. Hence, Romania and Bulgaria have very significant resources to support us towards this end and I am confident that this mission will be achieved in due course" added the Prime Minister of Georgia.

According to the Head of Government of Georgia, new and innovative projects have been discussed during the visits to lead the economic cooperation to a higher level of success.
