"As you know, I made a decision yesterday to replace Giorgi Kobulia with Natia Turnava as Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development. Giorgi Kobulia is an exceptional economist and professional analyst, who has succeeded in creating policies for development in every direction comprising the Ministry of Economy, and these policies will prove useful in the future. I have cooperated with Natia for at least ten years in both private and public sectors. Natia is a high-level professional with impressive experience. Today we need quick decisions, fast decision-making, to serve the public, and the interests of entrepreneurs, and I am convinced that Natia will succeed in fulfilling her duties. I believe that Natia has correct perceptions about the country's current social state of affairs. The tasks and deadlines she and her team are expected to fulfil and meet at the Ministry of Economy are ambitious and tight, but Natia enjoys our full support, and she will succeed in her duties," Mamuka Bakhtadze said.
