As Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze stated in his comment on the recent successful visit to Brussels, Georgia's relations with and integration into the EU are at an all-time high, and this achievement must be cherished.

According to the Head of Government, at the 5th Georgia-EU Association Council, Georgia's European partners reiterated their string supportive messages.

"Also, I would like to comment on the November 21 meeting on sectoral cooperation with the EU, during which we defined concrete directions, and we are working actively in this regard. Accordingly, the meeting in Brussels was also very important in that we prioritized projects that will form a part of our cooperation plan in the next few years," Mamuka Bakhtadze said.

According to the Prime Minister, the meetings with EU High Representative Federica Mogherini and European Commissioner Johannes Hahn discussed issues and planned reforms of priority importance to Georgia, including the most important of them, the EU Integration Roadmap.

"The roadmap is one of the important ways to accelerate Georgia's integration into the EU. It was the first presentation to our European friends. It is vitally important to us for Georgia to have a well-defined and result-oriented internal document of this type, to enable Georgian society easily to measure Georgia's progress on the path to Europe," Mamuka Bakhtadze stated.
