Strategic relations between Georgia and UK, positive trend of bilateral trade and economic relations, process of European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Georgia were discussed by Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister of Georgia and Sir Alan Duncan, Minister of State for Europe and the Americas of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland at a brief meeting held today within the scope of the 55th Munich Security Conference (MSC2019).

Focus was made on the reforms currently implemented in Georgia, which were deemed positive by Sir Alan. Parties also reviewed the challenges faced by the region.

Importance of the Wardrop Strategic Dialogue was stressed, which signifies the solid relations existing between Georgia and UK.

It was noted that workgroups created within the referred format have a great impact on the development of political, trade, economic and people to people relations.
