Citigroup, one of the world's leading financial institutions, praises Georgia as an exciting and reliable partner, Citi's Vice Chairman Jay Collins told Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze during their meeting today in Davos.

The conversation revolved around the development of Georgia's economy and capital market, along with topics discussed at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
Special emphasis was placed on increasing FDIs and creating new jobs. The Prime Minister introduced Citigroup's Vice Chairman to the Georgian Government's tax initiatives.

The meeting also discussed OPIC leadership's upcoming visit to Georgia.

"We discussed the Georgian economy and the Prime Minister's vision on how to continually upgrade the country, and how capital markets think about the country. Most importantly, we talked about investment, growth, and jobs. It was a very constructive meeting, so I was very appreciative, and Citi is honored to be in the country and supportive of Georgia," Jay Collins stated.

The meeting was attended by Georgia's Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Giorgi Kobulia.
