PRIME MINISTER OF GEORGIA RULES TO HAND OUT TAMIFLU FOR GRATIS IF AND WHEN DOCTORS PRESCRIBE Print Version

Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister of Georgia has made a decision to hand out Tamiflu for gratis to all and any citizen of Georgia if and when doctors prescribe. Decision is aimed to prevent and reduce the penetration of the seasonal flu in the country.
It is worth noting that the medication was originally handed out for gratis to pregnant patients and socially vulnerable groups.

In line with the instructions of the Head of Government of Georgia, Ministry of Health will ensure that every citizen of the country gets Tamiflu for a certain period of time - during the peak season - for gratis if and when doctors prescribe.
Referred decision of the Government will substantially facilitate the reduction of the illness.
