Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister of Georgia expresses his gratitude towards the Group of Friends at the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) for their supporting statements.
As noted by the Head of Government of Georgia at the Press Briefing held prior to the Executive Government Meeting today, it is yet another clear evidence of the fact that the global community will never tolerate with the Russian aggression and occupation of the Georgian territories.
"I wish to express my sincere gratitude to each friend of ours for this most significant message. It is utterly important to us that statements made by the Group of Friends refer to the killings of our citizens Archil Tatunashvili and Giga Otkhozoria. Our friends also share our attitude towards the issue. We continue to work with every partner organization to solicit international support towards this end, make it stronger and more voiced. Document explicitly notes the progress achieved by Georgia in terms of democratic development, institutional building and protection of human rights. It is important that OSCE Ministerial has produced statements in support of Georgia by the partner countries. Almost 30 member states of OSCE have focused on the problem of occupation in Georgia in their speeches. I wish to enormously thank each and every one of them once again" concluded the Prime Minister of Georgia.
