Today, Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze held a meeting with United Arab Emirates Ambassador to Georgia Essa Al Basha Al Noaimi.

The meeting discussed the growing bilateral relations, with emphasis on the importance of high-level exchange visits.

The dynamic development of tourism cooperation was pointed out, tough the significant untapped potential for the development of relations between the two countries was also underlined, especially in the areas of logistics and transport.
The Prime Minister of Georgia and the UAE Ambassador also discussed the trade, economic, and investment cooperation between the two countries. Mamuka Bakhtadze introduced the UAE Ambassador to Georgia's successful ongoing reforms across a variety of fields.
The conversation also involved the possibility of Georgia's participation in EXPO 2020 to be held in the United Arab Emirates.

The Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates thanked the Prime Minister of Georgia for opening the UAE Embassy in Georgia and emphasized that the new embassy will further deepen the relations between the two countries.
