"US-Georgia relations are all-time high as clearly stated at every single meeting" announced Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister of Georgia when reviewing his US visit today.

As noted by the Head of the Government of Georgia, meetings were held within the scope of his US visit with every reputable institution, which participate in the political decision-making and included the expertise community. According to the Prime Minister of Georgia, country has full support in all the initiatives that were shared by the Georgian delegation and aim to further deepen the US-Georgia relations.

"In the capacity of the Prime Minister of Georgia, it was my first visit to the USA with a delegation of the Government of Georgia (GOG). We held high level meetings at the White House and Senate with our friends. It was clearly noted at every single meeting that US-Georgia relations are all-time high in every dimension, which we develop together with our friends. Within the scope of the Working Visit we held meetings with International Financial Institutions (IFIs). We reviewed the prospects of economic growth in Georgia, our reform agenda, progress achieved towards macroeconomic stability, especially on the background of increased economic turbulences in our region. We spoke about the education system reform and significance of developing the human capital. The World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) were both acknowledging the progress achieved by Georgia and its leading role in the region. Country has been referred as a pillar in terms of financial standards and ease of doing business" stated the Prime Minister of Georgia.

According to the Head of the Government of Georgia, it is particularly noteworthy that Georgia will be one of the first beneficiaries to introduce the Human Capital Development Program in the country.

"I wish to express my enormous gratitude to our friends at the World Bank and the IMF for this tremendous support" added the Prime Minister of Georgia.

Head of the Government of Georgia stressed that reforms presented at meetings held within the scope of his US visit gained full support from all the significant financial institutions.

"Within the scope of the visit, we also held fruitful bilateral meetings with leaders of friendly nations; Jean-Claude Junker, President of the European Commission; Federica Mogherini, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy. Within the scope of United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), I addressed the Nelson Mandela Peace Summit" added the Prime Minister of Georgia.

In the opinion of the Head of the Government of Georgia, the most important part of the US visit was the 73rd Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 73). According to the Prime Minister of Georgia, it was an excellent opportunity for sharing information on the most pressing challenge of the country with the entire world - territorial integrity of the country and occupation of its territories by the Russian Federation.

"We once again and for the attention of the global community voiced these challenges, the difficulties experienced at the occupied territories, humanitarian disaster that we all sadly witness. We also voiced our solutions devised by the authorities of Georgia for a peaceful resolution of this humanitarian disaster and naturally we need support of the global community in this. I wish to assure our citizens that we have this support" stated the Prime Minister of Georgia.

I wish to once again express my gratitude personally to Donald J. Trump, US President; Michael R. Pompeo, US Secretary of State; John R. Bolton, US National Security Advisor; all the officials of the US executive and legislative authorities that are so ardently supporting us. They are true friends of Georgia and we have a very positive response to this initiative to make US-Georgia relations even deeper and strategic" concluded the Prime Minister of Georgia.
