"Georgia is a modern, very rapidly developing state and we are delighted to be with you and for you on the path of integration to NATO and EU" said Dalia Grybauskaite, President of the Republic of Lietuva to Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia at the meeting held at the Government Administration today.

President of the Republic of Lietuva congratulated Georgia 100th Anniversary of the first Democratic Republicand noted that it is very easy and pleasant for her as a politician to support Georgia, as she is backed both by the people and political circles of Lietuva.

"We are somewhat advocating your country at the NATO and EU. We are thrilled to be with you on this wonderful day - 100th Anniversary of Independence - similar to our country. Overall, Baltic countries, Poland, Finland and you managed to regain independence and restore statehood. Today Georgia is a modern, very rapidly developing state. We are delighted to be with you and for you on the path of integration in NATO and EU" said Dalia Grybauskaite to Giorgi Kvirikashvili.

Prime Minister of Georgia reciprocated to the President of the Republic of Lietuva by congratulating 100thAnniversary and expressed gratitude for acknowledging the authentic name of Georgia.

"Ladies and Gentlemen! It is a great day for us as 100 years ago fathers of Georgian democracy announced the first democratic republic. We are grateful for the support demonstrated by your country at various platforms of the world. We highly appreciate your support of Georgia's European and Euro-Atlantic integration. Georgia does its best to reach the highest standard set by our partner countries. It is very important that democracy is advancing in Georgia year by year and our friends are shareholders of this success of course. Thank you for visiting Georgia on this very special day" said the Prime Minister of Georgia to the President of the Republic of Lietuva.

Meeting, which later grew into an extended format , discussed issues included in the agenda of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Georgia and Republic of Lietuva.
