The meeting with High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini held within the framework of the 72nd Session of the United Nations General Assembly focused on Georgian reforms and the situation in the occupied territories of Georgia. The conversation also touched upon the progress achieved by Georgia and reforms aimed at developing the country and fostering its rapid integration into the European Union.
During the meeting, particular attention was paid to the situation in the occupied territories of Georgia. The EU High Representative reasserted EU's unwavering support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Georgia.
Federica Mogherini indicated that Georgia was one of the main topics discussed during her meeting with Mike Pence today, in New York.
The Prime Minister of Georgia and the EU High Representative also discussed upcoming Eastern Partnership Summit that will be held in Brussels this November.
