Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili hosted President of Poland Andrzej Duda at the Administration of Government during his visit to Tbilisi.

The sides reviewed the main aspects of friendly relations between the countries. Growing dynamics of cooperation across the wide range of areas, including trade, economy, transportation, tourism, education and culture was also discussed at the meeting. The leaders also assessed the investment potential of the two countries and highlighted the need of holding a joint business forum.

The importance of Polish Development Assistance Program that prioritises economic growth, rule of law, effective governance, and sustainability of national resources, social welfare and education was underlined during the meeting.

According to Giorgi Kvirikashvili, the visit of the President Andrzej Duda to Georgia is a clear indication of Poland's support to Georgia. The head of the Government of Georgia also expressed hope that the visit will deepen the Georgian-Polish relations.

Georgia's European and Euro-Atlantic integration was also discussed during the meeting. It was noted that Poland's active support to Georgia's EU and NATO integration is expressed at every high-level meeting.

The leaders also discussed the developments in the occupied territories of Georgia. The President of Poland reaffirmed his firm support to sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia.
