The new regulation allowing Georgian citizens to enjoy visa-free travel has been signed, with the signing ceremony at the European Parliament attended today by Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili.
The document was signed by President of the European Parliament Antonio Tajani and Chris Agius, Parliamentary Secretary for the EU Presidency.
The regulation enabling Georgia's citizens to travel visa-free in the EU/Schengen Area will be published in the official magazine of the EU in a few days. Within 20 days after publication, the citizens of Georgia will enjoy short-term visa-free travel to the EU/Schengen Area member states.
