A Government meeting, chaired by Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili, was held today at the Administration of the Government. The Cabinet discussed all 18 issues on the agenda.On the decision of the Cabinet, 42 refugee families will receive residential spaces to own free of charge in Kutaisi, Samtredia, and Tzkaltubo. Since October 2012, on the decree of the Government, 13,642 refugee families have received residential spaces, and this process will continue in the future.

Today 58 economic migrant families were also granted ownership of houses purchased in 2004-2009 (Tzalka, Tetritzkaro, Lagodekhi, Ninotzminda, Sighnaghi, and Abasha). So far, 311 economic migrant families have received houses to own.

At the Government's meeting, the Draft Decree of the Georgian Government on the Establishment of Temporary Limitations and Relevant Parameters for Defining Terms of Development Planning Orders/Using Land Lots for Construction in the Bakuriani Settlement and the Village of Didi Mitarbi was approved. According to this decree, the Government ensures the resort's protection from chaotic and improper property development. The development of Bakuriani has been quite chaotic for years, significantly harming this resort. Said limitations will remain in force until December 1, 2017, that is, until spatial and territorial documentations for Bakuriani and Didi Mitarbi are developed.
