On May 31 Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili was in Bordeaux.Within the frames of his visit, Giorgi kvirikashvili conducted a meeting with the President of France. Francois Hollande supports Georgia in the Visa Liberalization process.

President of France positively assessed government reforms as well as progress attained by Georgia in the Visa LIberalization process. The head of the government elaborated on the technical aspects of the Visa Liberalization Action Plan and underlined political importance of successful completion of the Visa Liberalization process in terms of Georgia's Western trajectory. Francois Hollande assured Giorgi Kvirikashvili of his full support.

President noted that he will conduct talks with the relevant Ministries to ensure that French consent on the Visa Liberalization process is obtained as swiftly as possible.

Within the frames of his visit, Prime Minister also attended the Wine City opened in Bordeaux, France. In 2017, the museum that represents the largest part of the Wine City, will host Georgia within the frames of its first exhibition "Invited Vineyard". The exhibition "Georgia - cradle of wine" will take place throughout July-August 2017.

Minister of Interior Giorgi Mghebrishvili, Minister of Agriculture Otar Danelia and Deputy Minister Levan Davitashvili also attended the official ceremony.
