Merger of the ministries of economic bloc is not planned, - the Prime Minister of Georgia responded to the question of the reporters while discussing the said topic. According to Giorgi Kvirikashvili, consultations with the members of the Cabinet of Ministers regarding optimization of the Government are in full swing.

"It is advisable to wait till the election ends. As you all know, the second tour of the elections is to be held on October 30. I would like to remind our citizens that the elections are not ended yet and a very important second tour scheduled on October 30 is still ahead of us. Following that, a certain period of time will be needed to present the updated composition of the Government to the Parliament and changes with regard to the Ministries are also possible. We do not plan to merge the ministries of economic bloc, nevertheless, minor amendments are to be expected. We continue the consultations with the Cabinet of the Ministers," - the Prime Minister noted in his conversation with the reporters.

Giorgi Kvirikashvili also commented on the incident of Krtsanisi Training Center. According to him, investigation into the case has been launched and the results of the inquiry will be published.

"A very saddening incident occurred in Krtsanisi. As you may know, the military facilities are subjected to the very strict protection regulations and servicemen guarding said military facilities have to follow detailed instructions. The said soldier acted in line with above mentioned instructions, hence, no questions shall be asked in this regard. We will welcome any kind of alternative investigations. A very saddening fact has taken place - a young man died. I would like to extend my condolences to the family of the deceased. I reiterate that this fact causes no questions, since the military facilities are protected in line with the very strict rules and everyone shall know that the violation of these regulations can be quite dangerous. I have examined the issue in a detailed manner and in my opinion, the servicemen followed the strictly prescribed instructions," - the Prime Minister noted in his conversation with the reporters.
