World Bank is pledging support towards the Four Point Reform Plan of the Government of Georgia. It was reiterated by Ms. Mercy Tembon, Regional Director of the World Bank in South Caucasus at the meeting with H.E. Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia.
Visitor congratulated the Head of the Government of Georgia with general elections held in a free and democratic environment.

Discussion at the meeting was focused on the structural reforms currently implemented and anticipated in the country, which are positively viewed by the World Bank. The referred International Financial Institution (IFI) stands ready to continue with its support of Georgia in this direction.
Regional Director of the World Bank expressed her satisfaction with the achievements made through the development of business and entrepreneurship in the country. In her opinion, these achievements get adequately reflected in the World Bank Annual Report on the Ease of Doing Business, which will be released shortly.

Ms. Tembon also noted at the meeting that a commendable progress has been achieved by Georgia in terms of poverty reduction over the past four years.
H.E. Dimitry Kumsishvili, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia attended the meeting.
