Investment in an amount of around 4 200 00 USD has been made in Marneuli municipality of QvemoQartli. Newly constructed Debeda Hess was visited by Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili and Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Energy KakhaKaladze. The managing partner of Investor Company Hydrolea, RadoslavDudolenski provided information concerning the capacity and operability of the hydroelectric plant to the Prime Minister. Installed capacity of DebedaHess is 3.1 MW, whereas estimated annual output is 14 KW/H.

This is an investment in an amount of around 4.2 million USD that was undertaken by Bulgarian investor. This is a comparatively small Hess and I consider that development of minor hydroelectric power plants is important, since they cause minimal damage to the environment, whilst contributing sufficiently to Georgian energy system and energy balance. For the purpose of energy security of our country, it is vitally important to increase the number of investors like one of Debeda Hess. This investor has number of other projects that will have our support," - Prime Minister noted.
