I am glad to observe the successful development of Georgian-Chinese relations throughout the last few years, this visit is a clear indication of this fact, - Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili started his face-to-face meeting with the Vice Prime Minister of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Zhang Gaoli.
The head of the government noted that Georgia considers its partnership with world's one of the largest economies to be crucially important. The sides discussed New Silk Road initiative and perspectives of development of Georgia's transit potential. During the meeting it was noted that growing number of economic and infrastructural projects puts greater emphasis on cooperation between the countries.

Giorgi Kvirikashvili reasserted that Georgia is open to Chinese investments, people and innovative ideas. The conversation also concerned the government's four-point reform plan.
Prime Minister thanked Vice Prime Minister of the State Council of the People's Republic of China for the continuous support of China to sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia.
