On December 2 the next Government meeting was held in the Government administration led by the Prime Minister that discussed 32 issues of the agenda, 7 issues were added, 2 issues were postponed, and 37 issues were approved.
According to the resolution of the Government amendments were made to the statute N238 on military service of the Georgian Government as of March 18, 2014. The aim of the project is to make up to 900 military servicemen who violated the contract from the financial responsibility on the basis of individual administrative-legal act of the defense minister of Georgia, if the financial responsibility arose till November 23, 2014 (instead of January 1, 2012) and it is not paid. Today Georgia's state policy is addressed to ensuring well-being of citizens of Georgia and their families, establishment of fair and non-discriminative approaches. It should be noted that contracts entered with military servicemen take into account high penalties irrelevant to different amount in case of violation of contract terms, also there is a contract the violation of which does not consider penalty.
Today at the Government meeting the resolution of the Georgian Government on privatization, use and granting governing right of municipality property, defining initial privatization fee, rental costs, initial rental costs and approving payment rules. After approving the resolution project the obligation defined by the code will be implemented. Development of the rule is defined within the competence defined by article 115 of local self-Government code of the Georgian organic law. Rule specifies that the municipality board is authorized to establish additional rules of privatization of municipal property, use and transfer of management rights. The rule includes transferring the municipal property to physical or/and legal entity; transferring the municipal property to physical, public or/and private legal entity with the right of use; transferring municipal shares and stocks to physical or/and legal entity in the form and the rule defined by local self-Government code of the Georgian organic law. The new rule entitles municipalities to regulate the issues that will make process of their property privatization, use and transferring with the right to manage more effective and flexible.
