The next government meeting was held on November 3 in the government administration led by the Prime Minister where the state budget project of 2015 was discussed.
The state budget project of 2015, compared to the first version, was increased by 170 million GEL. The increase is due to tax administration and not at the expense of taking new loans, including:
• Funding of the ministry of health and social affairs was increased by 25 million GEL (from here the part of the amount will be allocated for the increase of pensions)
• Funding of the defense minister was increased by 15 million GEL
• Funding of the ministry of internal affairs was increased by 15 million GEL
• Funding of the ministry of sport and youth activities was increased by 15 million GEL
According to the points from September 1, 2015, pensions of socially vulnerable pensioners will be increased by maximum 25 GEL. In addition, pensions will be increased in 2016 as well and this increase will apply all the pensioners.
From September 1, 2015 salaries of teachers of all categories will be increased by 50 GEL, and according to categories by more and for teachers of the highest category the increase will be 200GEL.
